Punchbowl Reserve provides a beautiful and spacious area with play equipment for kids, amenities, tables, and bins. The park is well-maintained and offers excellent facilities, shaded BBQ areas, picnic areas, and children's playgrounds. Visitors can have a kick of the footy, feed the ducks, and take walks around the pond. Punchbowl is a beautiful and natural free outdoor experience with rhododendrons, gardens, and a hidden waterfall, making it perfect for a romantic date or a family day out. The BBQ facilities are covered and have chairs and tables, and the lawns are ideal for children and families to play. The park is relaxing and peaceful, providing a number of short walks, perfect for getting offline and away for an hour or two. However, it can be busy on weekends, and parking is limited, so visitors should arrive early.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Launceston council.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with Launceston council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
